SUMMARY:CBCT TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM  WITH  GESHE LOBSANG TENZIN NEGI
DESCRIPTION:Estudios Contemplativos and Ment i Vida have the pleasure of announcing the First CBCT Teacher Training Program in Europe. This CBCT Teacher Certification Program is aimed to people with a regular contemplative or meditative practice  wishing to deepen their knowledge and experience on Cognitively-Based Compassion Training and serve as CBCT instructors for ongoing research projects or for applying it in their personal or professional communities. The list of certified instructors includes people from different areas\, including teachers of elementary and secondary education\, therapists\, physicians\, nurses\, researchers\, community organizers and graduate students. All are people who have made the CBCT foundational course and expected to make CBCT a larger part of their lives \nFor the first time in Europe\, this program offers the possibility of carrying out all phases of the CBCT Teacher Training Program. This format will consist of 14-day intensive training in Barcelona with the guidance and supervision of  Geshe Lobsang Tenzin Negi\, Ph.D.\, and Timothy Harrison\, from Emory University. \nThis training is divided into three parts and is aimed to students who have already completed the Foundation course last November of 2015 in Barcelona or in the United States: \n1. 5 day Retreat (from 2 nd to 6th July) \nFor people wishing to engage in the practice of CBCT there will also offer the option for a new edition of the CBCT Foundation Course (from 2nd to 5th July 2016). \nFor students who attended the first edition of the BCT Foundation Course (Barcelona\, 2015) and who wish to deepen their practice but do not choose the option of being a certified instructor\, there will give the option of attending to the 5 day retreat  (from (from 2 nd to 6th July) ). \nTeachers \nGeshe Lobsang Tenzin Negi\, Ph.d.\, is the creator of  CBCT and Director of the Emory-Tibet Science Initiative which aims to implement a contemporary scientific curriculum for integrating Western scientific knowledge with the wisdom and contemplative tools of Tibetan Buddhism under the supervision of the Dalai Lama. \nTimothy Harrison\, is one of the Senior Teachers and Assistant Director of the  CBCT certification instructor program.
